What Is It?
The Park Tool FR-2 Freewheel Remover – SunTour 2-Pin is a professional-grade tool designed to remove older SunTour® two-notch (2-pin) threaded freewheels. Precision-machined from heat-treated alloy tool steel, it securely engages the two-notch interface on compatible freewheels, allowing safe removal using an adjustable wrench, 1" socket, or bench vice.
The FR-2 is specifically designed for older SunTour® two-notch freewheels and should not be used on later four-notch SunTour freewheels or cassette lockrings.
