What Is It?
The KMC 9-Speed 6.6mm Chain Link / MissingLink is a replacement quick-release connector for joining compatible 9-speed bicycle chains. It allows the chain to be connected and disconnected without using a conventional connecting pin. KMC specifies the CL566R for KMC, Shimano and SRAM 9-speed chains.

KMC's current CL566R is the reusable version. KMC also offers CL566e specifically for e9 chains, which is non-reusable, so the exact version should be checked when replacing a link.
