The Maxxis Forekaster 29 × 2.40 WT Foldable Tyre is a versatile trail and cross-country (XC) mountain bike tyre designed to deliver fast rolling speed with confident grip across a wide range of trail conditions. The latest-generation Forekaster bridges the gap between XC race tyres and aggressive trail tyres, making it ideal for riders who encounter everything from hardpack and loose-over-hard terrain to wet roots and light mud.
Featuring a Wide Trail (WT) casing, the tyre is optimised for modern 30–35 mm internal width rims, providing a more stable tread profile and improved cornering performance. Depending on the model, it is available with 3C MaxxTerra or Dual Compound rubber and EXO sidewall protection, while all versions are Tubeless Ready (TR).
