The Shimano SH-XC702 Wide is a high-performance XC MTB shoe designed for riders who need more room through the foot without giving up the stiffness and power transfer expected from a race-focused shoe. The carbon-fibre-reinforced nylon midsole has a stiffness rating of 9/12, providing a solid platform for hard climbs, fast accelerations and long XC efforts.

The Wide DYNALAST fit gives additional space through the forefoot, while Shimano's Surround Wrapping upper creates a secure, close-fitting feel. Dual BOA L6 dials allow independent micro-adjustment, with the adjustable Powerzone guide helping keep the forefoot firmly in place.

Underneath, the ULTREAD XC rubber outsole provides grip for technical sections, run-ups and the inevitable moments when you need to get off the bike. The reinforced spike mounts allow you to add compatible toe spikes for muddy or loose conditions. The XC702 Wide uses a 2-bolt SPD cleat system and has a low-stack design to keep the foot stable over the pedal.
