The Shimano SH-MT502 is an SPD cycling shoe for riders who spend plenty of time off the bike as well as on it. It has the look and walkability of a lightweight outdoor shoe, but with a reinforced sole and recessed SPD cleat for proper pedal connection. Shimano rates it at 4/12 stiffness, keeping the sole comfortable enough for walking while still giving you a stable platform on the pedals.

The speed-lacing system and instep strap make it quick to secure, while the mesh and TPU upper keeps things breathable. Underneath, the glass-fibre-reinforced nylon midsole, EVA cushioning and rubber outsole are designed for both pedalling and walking. It's also e-bike rated.
