The Shimano SH-RC502 is a lightweight road cycling shoe that brings plenty of Shimano's higher-end race technology into a more accessible package. Its carbon-reinforced nylon midsole has a stiffness rating of 8/12, giving you a solid platform for efficient power transfer without making the shoe excessively rigid.

The Surround Wrapping upper creates a secure, close-fitting feel around the foot, while the synthetic leather and breathable mesh/TPU construction helps keep things comfortable on longer rides. A BOA L6 dial and forefoot strap allow you to fine-tune the fit, while Shimano's DYNALAST shape and low-stack design help keep your foot stable over the pedal.

The SH-RC502 uses a 3-bolt SPD-SL cleat system with an extended cleat adjustment range, making it suitable for everything from regular training and long-distance riding to racing. At around 241g per shoe in size 42, it also keeps weight under control.
